    As your Masterbatch specialist, Color Service constantly keeps more than 500 standard colours on hand that we deliver within 24 hours from an amount starting at 1 kg. With this, we cover a solid amount of colour variety that we would be happy to provide to you as colour charts free of charge. Our standard colours are also available in the standard UN and PE boxes. They contain sample swatches of all standard colours, as well as a handy overview of the most important technical basic parameters such as temperature stability or light light-fastness. You can request Standard-Boxes by contacting our sales team.

    Masterbatchs of top-quality

    For our Standard masterbatches we exclusively use physiologically safe colour pigments that are also suitable for the food industry. These do not contain any cadmium, lead or diaryl pigments and can therefore be used with a variety of polymers. If you would like a custom-colour that is not part of our masterbatches, we can most certainly create a Universal-Masterbatch­® , PE-Masterbatch or polymer-specific masterbatch in our laboratory.     We at Color Service are especially proud of our Universal-Masterbatch® – because it is truly one-of-a-kind. The special carrier substance was specifically developed and patented by Color Service. Due to its special manufacturing process, it is possible to create diverse special effects – from metallic to shimmer, all the way to glow effects. The inclusion of additives, the creation of combination batches and the use of the most varied types of polymers is possible.

    The individually manufactured Universal-Masterbatch offers advantages over a polymer-specific masterbatch:

    • Smaller dosage due to the high amount of Pigments
    • Greater homogeneity due to a lower melting temperature
    • Reduced complexity and storage – one Masterbatch for diverse applications

    PE-Masterbatch – The Classic Batch

    Our tried and true PE-Masterbatch solutions are excellent for colouring polyolefins – i.e. polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). This is by far the largest market segment for our masterbatches due to the broad range of possible polyolefin use. Polyolefins are semi-crystalline plastics with good chemical resistance and good electrical insulation characteristics. For this reason, they are used for the most varied mass applications. Our most favorite and reliable PE-Masterbatches can be supplied in opaque, transparent and translucent colours. Metallic, pearlized and glow effects are also possible.

    Polymer-specific Masterbatches – More than 4 Million Recipes

    You as a customer can take advantage of our more than 40 years of innovation in the field of polymer-specific colour-masterbatches: Thanks to one extensive colour database we have more than 4 million recipes and are able to create individual colour matching anytime at short notice. Our laboratory archive provides quick access to more than 10,000 colour references.

    Our polymer-specific colour-masterbatches can be supplied based on the following carrier systems: PE, PP, PS, SAN, ABS, ASA, PC, PBT, PET/PETG, POM, PA, TPE, and TPU. We are also busy working on the development of colours for less common applications. We will deliver your polymer-specific colour-masterbatches in amounts between 25 kg and several tons. The normal lead-time for production is approximately 5 business days. We also create special effects colours and additive as well as combination-batches in the form of polymer-specific masterbatches.
